What is CVEDex?

CVEDex is a Pokémon-inspired CVE (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) tracking application that helps you monitor and analyze security vulnerabilities.

How it works

The application fetches data from the NIST National Vulnerability Database (NVD) API and stores it in a local JSON database. It automatically refreshes every 30 minutes to keep the data up-to-date.

Data collected

CVEDex collects and displays the following information for each CVE:

• CVE ID
• Description
• Published and modified dates
• Severity level (Critical, High, Medium, Low, N/A)
• Base score and exploitability score
• Reference URLs

• Filter by time range (1, 7, 14, 30 days or all time)
• Search by CVE ID, description, or references
